Tines de Solanes
I took this photo close to Talamanca’s torrent (Catalonia), in the middle of nowhere. It is curious to see how during the 18th century, many stone-made wine vats where built this way, without a farmhouse nearby.
The reason was that during that period, there were vineyards everywhere and to avoid logistic problems they decided to produce the wine close to vineyards. These lonely constructions were very usual on the Montcau Valleys but rarer on other parts of Catalonia.
I already add this photo into the wallpapers, so you are free to download it at any time.
