Hockenheim Library (Germany)
When I first saw this building, I thought it was for the city council, or perhaps it was a small hotel. However, I surprised when I realized I was in front of the Hockenheim public library. This German city is not big, just 20,000 citizens, but to me it seemed smaller, and such a building was more than I expected for a library.
Don’t get me wrong, books are important to me—I’ve spent all my life between their pages—but where I live, it’s not common to have libraries in such large buildings in such small towns.
