Rupit’s Natural Stone Street (Catalonia)

A few weeks ago, I showed you a photo of Rupit’s Hanging Bridge. If you combine that photo with this one, you will get to see the most iconic places in this small medieval town, located in the Collsacabra Region not far from Barcelona.

The houses in the photo are from the 16th and 17th century. Without a doubt, they are one of the wonders of this beautiful town. Walking on the surrounding streets, you will also be able to enjoy the baroque Church of Saint Miquel, the hanging bridge, or, if you want to enjoy a nice stroll, you can visit the El Salt de Sallent waterfall located three kilometers away from Rupit.

You can also find great restaurants, where you will be able to enjoy traditional Catalan meals. You should also stop by the Forn de Pa l’Era, an excellent bakery where you can buy bread cooked in a wooden oven or the delicious Coca de Forner (baker’s cake). It is a must.
