Winter Sunset (Panta de Santa Fe, Catalonia)
The first time I visited this peaceful reservoir, it was summer. At that time, the trees were full of leaves and green was the dominant color. However, after fall, the landscape changes dramatically. It is still beautiful, but it makes me feel a little bit nostalgic and eager for the next spring.
The reservoir, located inside Montseny Natural Park, was constructed in 1935 to provide electricity to a nearby luxury hotel. Pere Domènech I Pou was the architect responsible for the design and he did great work—the reservoir is integrated into the landscape and almost looks like a natural lake. It is the perfect place to enjoy nature and disconnect from our busy life.
