Winter Is Coming (Fageda d’en Jordà, Catalonia)
I have been trying to capture Jordan’s Beachwood in its best fall colors, but it is beginning to seem an impossible task. I visited this forest two times this year. My first trip was made at the right time of year, but the weather had other plans. On that visit, the forest still looked like summer.
After that, I had to travel for a few weeks. When I returned, I knew it was too late. However, I still wanted to visit the forest. When I did, almost all the leaves had fallen, announcing the arrival of winter. It was good to feel the cold on my face, especially since my travel had been to warmer countries.
Which do you prefer: winter or summer?
