Somewhere in the Catalan Pyrenees
Maybe is because the year comes to an end that I decided to take a look back to my old photos. And maybe, due to these cold days that we are living I got specially drawn into this summer shoot in the Catalan Pyrenees. However, after some stressful days it’s good to have some time to clean up my photography archive, organize my thoughts, and recall a wonderful day spent on the mountain.
The Pyrenees is a large range of mountains that has become a natural border between Catalonia and France. It is a great place to relax and enjoy any of the many activities that it offers: you can ski on winter; hike throughout vast stretches of natural parks with peaks over the 3000 meters, lakes, and creeks; or visit any of the centuries-old alpine villages with plenty of early medieval architecture. This is particularly true in the Vall de Boí where you can find a beautiful Romanesque church almost on any village.
Are you ready to visit the Catalan Pyrenees?
