Cathedral of Saint Julian of Le Mans (France)
This beautiful cathedral—dedicated to Saint Julian of Le Mans, the city’s first bishop—is located on the northeastern corner of the old town. It sits atop a slight ridge that is dominated by cobbled streets and half-timbered medieval houses.
I must say, I am very happy to finally have the opportunity to photograph this stunning building. I have visited the city several times since 2007 and this is the first year the building hasn’t been under repair and surrounded by scaffolding.
