El Volcà Croscat (La Garrotxa, Catalonia)

The Croscat is one of the most visited volcanoes 🌋 in La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park; it was mined a few decades ago to extract volcanic rock, and today you can enjoy a unique experience while walking throw it.

It is located between Olot and Santa Pau, next to the Santa Margarida Volcano and the Fageda d'en Jordà. In fact, the lava flows of the Croscat were the ones that gave La Fageda its current appearance.
