Autumn Colours In La Fageda d'en Jordà

A few weeks ago I was visiting this beautiful forest in the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of the Garrotxa, it’s located near Olot, only 100 kilometres from Barcelona.

I had been trying to capture it with the best autumn colours for some years. However, when the time was right I was to busy, working far away, or both… But I’m happy because this year had been a different history: on my first attempt the forest looked so green, almost like summer, but a few days ago, I travelled to La Fageda d’en Jordà again, and I finally had my reward.

The forest was a mix of colours, it was so beautiful that I feel compel to constantly stop my walk to take shoot after shoot. I don’t finish editing all the photos from that day, but so far this is one of my favourites. I hope you like it!
