Pals, A Lovely Medieval Village (Catalonia)

Pals is a medieval town in the province of Girona, in the North-Est of Catalonia. It’s only a few kilometres away from the sea, and it is part of the Costa Brava region.

When I started walking inside Pals I got surprised by nice cobbled streets, stone arches, and the well-preserved houses with their Romanesque and Gothic doorways and windows… It is not a large village but it took me a long time to visit it because I could not resist stopping in all the streets, and alleys to take more and more photos. It is like getting straight back to the middle ages!
