Castell de Tamarit (Tarragona, Catalonia)

The Tamarit Castle is one of the icons of the Costa Daurada. It is not open to tourism, but being very close to Tarragona and less than an hour's drive from Barcelona, it is difficult not to visit it.

The views from the beach are fantastic, and if you visit it in summer, you can take the opportunity to swim in crystal clear waters.
