Cala de Roques Planes (Sant Antoni de Calonge, Catalonia)

A few days ago I was visiting “La Cala de Roques Planes” in Sant Antoni de Calonge. It’s a beautiful cove with small beach and large rocks where tourist, and swimmers enjoy their summer time taking sunbath and refreshing dips into the crystalline waters.

Roques Planes can be translated as the “Cove of the Flat Rocks”. You can image why it gets that name by looking at the photograph, right? It’s also referred as the Cove of the White Rocks because the rock’s color is much lighter here than other nearby coves.

It was my first time in this part of the Costa Brava, and I must say that it was a pleasure. Beautiful views, relaxing environment, and a great sunrise. Have you ever visit the Costa Brava? Which is your favorite cove?
